Award-winning baby goods brands, phil&teds and Mountain Buggy, head to Germany this week to showcase their products alongside the world’s leading baby trade fair, Kind + Jugend.
The international exhibition for premium baby and toddler products, opens its doors in Cologne from 19 - 22 September, where more than 1,200 exhibitors from around 50 countries are set to exhibit.
Company chief executive, Campbell Gower, says the Kind + Jugend environment provides the perfect launching pad for introducing new and innovative products, while also showcasing existing line ups.
“The one theme that truly unifies both our brands this year is innovation; Kiwi ingenuity at its best!
“This tradeshow, we’re delivering a number of ingenious products that allow parents to adapt&survive their parenting day, and live extraordinary lives without limit.”
Last year, Kind + Jugend attracted close to 25,000 trade visitors from 125 countries. For the fifth consecutive year, the Kiwi company will showcase its products off site, across from the exhibition’s main hall.
phil&teds’ trade visitors will again meet within an in-situ parenting day “living room”, where visitors can experience the brand’s products in a setting just like they would, with kids, at home.
Gower says “it’s here, visitors will see how phil&teds has reinvented the inline buggy space, once again, only this time with four buggies, as well as view our recently launched compact single buggies, and meet the brand spankin’ new poppy highchair family.”
The company’s Mountain Buggy brand will celebrate over 25 years of designing innovative and award-winning products.
While the design and technology of the brand’s award-winning platform has evolved throughout the past quarter-century, Gower says Mountain Buggy’s adventurous spirit, values of innovation and customer connection, and power of being the underdog remain the same today.
“With Mountain Buggy, engineered for the mountains, designed for the city is not just a strap line. It’s a belief, and something that resonates deeply within us. So much so that the originality and ingenuity behind the first urban jungle buggy lives on with this spirit.
“Our dedication to authenticity, and our absolute ambition to drive forward our all terrain brand has taken us from one edge of the globe to the other, creating terrific experiences for over one million parents along the way. Now that’s worth celebrating at the world’s leading baby trade fair!”
phil&teds and Mountain Buggy products sell in over 40 markets and more than 1,000 stores worldwide.
In previous years, the company has secured orders in excess of NZD $1 million during the three day event. Gower hopes the trade show will build on that as well as open new doors for the company, in the ever changing retail environment.
